Anyone done a driving experience with them?

Had one bought for my 30th and doing the day on Sunday at Elvington.

Picked the Lamborghini, Aston and Ariel atom.

Are they really keen on keeping you driving steady or do they let you have fun?

Have done a similar thing last year at AMG world in Surrey. Got to abuse the tyres on a C63 on the skid pan and the little track they have and was encouraged to abuse the car. Great fun.

So, any experience?

Think one I did was with Everyman at prestwold hall. The instructor I had certainly wasn't trying to hold me back. Then again the R8 I drove was pretty well worn! Replete with black wheels pinched off of a gallardo, and horrible vibrations on the brakes.

Was great though!

Did one at some proving ground in Warwickshire (iirc), the Gallardo was pretty well used but the instructor seemed to gauge his audience pretty quickly and encourage what felt like swift driving but using decent lines which kept it safe smile

Well did the driving day. Enjoyed it but was let down with the Aston DB9 and Lambo. Nice cars but felt very un-involving to drive. The Atom on the other hand was fantastic to drive and upgraded my high speed passenger ride to the atom also as i was so impressed with it.

on another note if anyone remembers the older Motorway police series from around south yorkshire, you my remember PC Tim Scothern. Well her is an instructor or everyman racing as well.

Sorry to rehash an old thread but I went a couple of weeks ago and they let me thrash the knackers off of all of their cars right from the outset, I even scalped their high speed passenger run car in the atom! biggrin
If you have any hesitation about going to do an experience day, I can't recommend these guys (Prestwold) highly enough!

I got to drive the McLaren 12c, Atom 300, F458, Murci LP640 and an R8 V10.

I've been to prestwold on a Everyman experience day and as others have said they judge your ability very quickly and get you to push on but in a safe manor. I have done 3 different track days all with different companies in different locations. They all encourage you to seek your limits and I was the quickest on track all 3 times thanks to the great tuition from the instructors and my confidence in the cars.
So much fun and I can't wait to do another.
