Which one would you buy?

I travel two miles to work and a blast drive at the weekend.

I did want a S2000 but I cant fit in the thing and the tax is too much.

So, which one would you buy?

Thanks

Seeing as you've listed the Focus ST twice I would say your minds made up on that one.

Plus its a very good value car at £6,000, just watch out for things like driveshafts, liners and oil filter diaphragms that go.

Depends what you like .

focused thrills or relaxed cruising.

whatever of those two you choose is either the focus or the civic.

im discounting the golf simply because its just very good at everything.

When I bought my FN2 4.5 years ago for the money at the time I thought the Civic was best of those 3 and bought one. I also tried a cooper s and Megane 225. Assuming all things are the same for the money I think the Focus might slightly edge it. The Civic is better on fuel when on a run and the K20 is an amazing engine.

Two miles? This might sound flippant, but have you considered walking or cycling to work and then spending the cash on a weekend toy?

Out of those... The running costs of the I5 Focus ST would put me off a little. The Golf seems a tiny bit tame for a hot hatch, so I'd probably suggest the Type R.
