2001 Polo query, sorry not the most PH type of car

[andymc]

A kindly soul smashed into and then legged it leaving some damage on my daughter's car (2001 Polo), does anyone know if the wing mirror is a shared part on any other cars in the VAG range as I'm struggling to find one in the breakers, sorry it's not an Enzo/Aventador question but there you have it.

many thanks
Andy

6n2 shape if im not mistaken?

You may be able to source a mirror from an earlier 6n. It may be the same but I don't know. Also be aware that the drivers side is bigger than the passenger.

Or alternatively, if you don't mind the looks, FK Automotive are currently more or less giving away the stuff from their "tuning" range. Should be something for both types of Polo made in 2001 (6N2 and 9N).
