I went to BTCC at Brands yesterday and managed to blag the pits and a grid walk. I'm feeling pretty happy with myself and just wanted to share this with everyone. That is all.

I think the person with the best blag will be the bloke the pit girl went home to that night.

Did you say hello to Jason?

On a separate note, is that track sloping away to the left as we look at it?

He didn't really seem like he was up for chit chat, Tim Harvey was friendly enough though. The track does camber off to the right on the main straight if you going round clockwise.

Then I'm sure you'll have a photo of her holding a tin of custard you can share with us.

No tin of custard gents, just a wife that's wondering what this thread is all about. I told her its about the cars not the grid girls, not sure she believes me.

Back in the day I walked the Brands pits and garages area and met Nigel Mansell. That was near the peak of his career, when he was giving a demo display in between races. You can imagine how amazing it was for a little kid to see him and touch his williams. Ok that sounds wrong hehe
