The NOISE! Me & Mrs Digga were crossing the footbridge on the Hangar Straight at the Silverstone Classic a few years back when some of these things passed underneath at race speed. The sound is just awesome. Physical as well as aural.
This is what motor racing is about IMHO. Loud engines, low downforce, lots of dramatic pitch, roll and yaw. It's percisely what hooked me to the TVR Tuscans in the late 80's.
