Rolls-Royce Wraith spotted in the wild
Discussion
Nice looking car.
O/T question though - why blank out the number plates?
Not trolling here, but I've often wondered this. I can "sort" of understand it of your own car (I've done it myself without knowing why), but of someone else's car I just don't get. It's on display when he's driving down the road & I can't imagine someone cloning the plate off a Wraith onto another one to avoid congestion charge / speeding tickets / petrol station drive-offs etc.

Interesting, so why.
If I saw a nice car with the owner nearby, I would ask if they minded me taking a picture. Seeing as the owner was not there to ask, I take away the individual nature of it. Maybe its a generation thing.
Fair question, probably not a very good answer

I think losing the chrome around the rear lights would make it look a lot better.
Agreed - the front looks more "sorted" than the back. I think these "uber" coupes do have a problem with their fat arses & what to do with them. For some reason, the back view (particularly in the night shot) makes me think of a Jaguar.
Saying that, if I had one, I probably wouldn't give a s
t what anyone else thought

It definitely looks like a Bentley, its that dog crouch rear I think. Prefer this to the Continental though..
It seems to me that Bentley and Rolls Royce have reversed roles. Bentley always seemed (to me at least) the more classy choice when they were one and the same. Now RR seems much much more classy than the (relatively speaking) everyday Bentley's.
Sure it could change again as they chase sales (short term gain) at the expense of brand value.

Fair question - just a perception of politeness I guess, a respect to a degree of another's privacy which took me about 30secs.

"Bentleys for driving in, Rolls for being driven in" It definitely looks like a Bentley, its that dog crouch rear I think. Prefer this to the Continental though..

That seem as true today as it always has been.

Saw a couple in Knutsford yesterday as the dealer is nearby, looked good but as has been said a bit like a Conti GT, or a GTA5 take on a Conti GT, there was a pink roller being unloaded as well
Got to love Cheshire, Knutsford has McLaren, Rolls and Bentley dealers, Wilmslow has Porsche and Aston, never short of some posh metal I cant afford to gawp at.

Knutsford on a sunny Saturday is like being in the West End of London at times. Back in August there was a Gulf liveried GT40 parked up in the High Street. With the usual mix of European tax haven number plated 'basics' (Ferraris, Lambos etc) out and about.Got to love Cheshire, Knutsford has McLaren, Rolls and Bentley dealers, Wilmslow has Porsche and Aston, never short of some posh metal I cant afford to gawp at.
