Good few road tests available now, top spec £10k with everything.

"It’s well priced, although depreciation will likely be fairly brutal. It’s a simple, unpretentious little performance car, and if that doesn’t earn it the right to wear an MG badge, I don’t know what does."

Fancy swapping the wife's swift for one in 6 months when they are 2nd hand.

Read the article also - it has promise, espcially as it was chassis fettled by a UK team.

My thoughts though are if buying new you'll lose the same over 3 years as the Fiesta - or maybe worse.

Makes sense to me as a second owner pre-reg, top spec price that starts with an 8 or budget spec starting with a 7.

Yes, anything around 8k for the top spec in pre-reg and i'll have one, usually keep them for 6 yrs so not worried about depreciation. Engine sounds the weak point but no turbo etc. should be reliable, looks a fun little car.
