The worst drivers by profession
Discussion
I nominate my peers here. Professional yachties. Every time we drive we are in a different country, with differing rules. Sometimes on the left, sometimes on the right, sometimes on the left in LHD (in a lot of the Caribbean!). Often in an unfamiliar rental car, and usually with little local knowledge so blindly following a sat nav. Coupled with the very low annual mileage, I reckon we have to be about the worst. I'm personally not bad in the UK, but still only cover about 5k/year. Can there be a worse group?
ETA - I'm talking about road driving here, not fastest laps.

Surely this must be a duel to the death between taxi and HGV drivers.
Don't forget white vans and sales reps.HGV drivers tend to be quite good in my experience - All the horrendous accidents you hear are down to them falling asleep at the wheel, while they're awake they tend to be pretty good.
Racing drivers are another group though, crashes per mile driving must be incredibly high!

It's not hard driving a HGV in isolation..
It's all the idiots about you that make it harder.!
Basic stuff like tight roundabouts - I'm certain nobody here would try go diwn the inside of an artic while on a roundabout as you'd know there's simply no room. Sharing the road with the general public it's literally 50/50 if someone will try it. Amazing.
Generally earn the money when you get to the drops though. Some drops you have to be very very good.
