Draining a diesel tank on an audi a5?
Discussion
Wife is handing her leased Audi A5 back tomorrow but in a rare act of stupidity, filled the tank with fuel.
I'm not too tight to chart this up to experience, however, if there's an easy way to get the fuel back out - then why not?
Tried the hose pipe but doesn't go far enough in, so tried a smaller bore pipe which just kept feeding in and in and in until I ran out of pipe but still no fuel out.
Had a quick scout under the car, but there's plastic covers everywhere and it's pitch black now.
The fella's arriving at 07:30 tomorrow to swap the cars over, so if you know a nice easy method of removing £90 worth of diesel, please let me know....

h to not be so stupid next time. The tank appears to be in the mid section of the car - I'll be f

Look at it another way - approx 600 miles of fun before 07.30 tomorrow morning. What are you waiting for?
In an A5 diesel? Which is almost certainly an S-Line? 600 miles of spine torture. We've got an A5 (basic 2.0 TDI - not even an S-line) and it's quite good fun.

Have you actually driven one?

Driven a 1.8T S-line... Neither spine torture nor 'fun'. We've got an A5 (basic 2.0 TDI - not even an S-line) and it's quite good fun.
