How long before diesel engines are outlawed

Typical, having just bought one.. Seems to me that diesel is regarded as a problem fuel. How long do we think it will go on?

They are the modern asbestos. Everyone knows they are carcinogenic, but we stick our heads in the sand and ignore it until something else comes along.

Until we stop this C02 lie, people will tick the diesel box on the company car order list to save tax.
