There was a blue one of those being driving by a girl in her 20's near the Barons BMW in Farnborough yesterday.

The E was missing so it was a Mini Pacman laugh Not sure whether it was intentional or previously vandalised but either way the lettering did make me chuckle a bit hehe

Minis had vertical rear light lenses, not horizontal ones.

Does that massive MINI badge double as a tailgate handle?

Have they? The old ones had Toyota and Chrysler. And they were built in a factory in Oxford. So no real link with BMW at all.

They really are cartoon characters now. For the work force's sake I hope the bottom of the barrel is not too close.

I had one as a hire car this week, fortunately only a day, it is the 2 door version of the Maxi Mini (Countryman?)

I had to suffer the 1.6d with no toys. Noisy, lots of noise, wind noise, road noise, very intrusive, engine was loud with no go. Dash squeaked a lot, probably because rather than do what every other manufacturer has done and simplify everything, they have decided they need multiple surfaces to be joined together. and they all squeak. Steering was woeful, wooden, no feedback. It was no good in town or on a motorway. You have to have a pretty thick skin (and skull) to want to live with one I'd think.

Yes. And when its covered in muck, so are you. And it is, obviously, huge.

And seemingly the BMW executives from the 1980s have been responsible for the options packages, as practically anything of use appears (at quick glance at the website) to be a paid for extra.

Fashion comes at a laughably high price.

They copied a 1970's childrens party jelly mould car to get the styling.

Good thing though in this case, or they'd sell more of them wink.

& yet I think they look quite good confused

Try not thinking of it as a mini, just as a small soft roader from a fashionable brand

Rear lights are horrible (and the front ones I suppose). Apart from that it's not that bad.
