Sorry if a repost but I'm tired of super bright DRLs. Why are they so intense? Seem to be the new fog light enemy!

99% of the time I don't have a problem with them - I generally find modern HID and LED dipped beams more of an issue.

The industry leaders seem to be BMW and Audi.
Germany lost the war. To us. Twice.
Go figure.

Some are yes, and whoever designed some of the shapes must have been on LSD.

Where I live, the road has a slight incline, so cars coming my way look like they are full on beam. (As the road has a slope, the back of the oncoming cars are a tad lower than the front, hense the light beam is angled upwards).

Some seem just to wrongly aligned,

And some are just too effing bright.

You mention it is a stupid idea, however consider the fact that if it wasn't for the DRLs, those cars you saw, would not have had any lights on at all.

Too technical. I find some too bright as well.

Define "high temp", do you mean colour temperature?

I drove 200 miles today. I noticed loads. Yes, they are too bright, & ridiculous. The only current respite is simply that most cars on the road don't have them. Fast forward 5 years it'll be a nightmare. Totally totally pointless. And why manufacturers go OTT rather than have one LED (to satisfy regualtions) god only knows.
