Hello folks,
As above really, potentially castle Combe. Would like to buy a driving/supercar experience for the Mrs for Xmas. Any recommendations gratefully received, up to about £300 I reckon. Thanks thumbup

Did a 6th gear one recently and really enjoyed it. Drove 3 cars (Atom, Gallardo and F430). Was well within your budget.

The events run by Caterham are highly rated. A range of courses, good tuition and no silly rev limits, etc which many supercar experiences are ruined by.

Ive done, them all, the drife and slalaom one are crap value for money.Full tracj day is slightly better value, but still poor.
Porsche Experience centre at Silverstone is decent value,90 mins in a 911S for around £275 including an instuctor.

I'm surprised, I did the drift and track day, found both good. Not done the slalom.

Not quite what your initially looking for, but Phil price rally is REALLY good. actually a really good day for learning general car control in slippery conditions, highly recommended.

Subaru Rally Experience use Castle Combe, I highly recommend them, £300 will get you a full day experience, morning in a RWD N/A Impreza, afternoon in the 4WD turbo.

I've no axe to grind as I came second on the day, but the slalom full-day works out at £50 per minute of car time. 8 runs of approx 30 seconds for your 200 quid (and that was in 2010 so probably gone up),and a hell of a lot of waiting around.

As is my usual response to these threads, my advice is to buy jewellery/shoes/handbag instead.
