Anyone tried Star Performer SPTV tyres

[HertsBiker]

Seen these advertised, seem too good to be true. Anyone tried them? How were they?

Thanks

Usually if we haven't heard about them before there is a reason.

I know! But they are rated highly, and cheap. Eg, half my michelins.

Rated by who?

My brother had these on his Escort, it now resembles a pretzel, after encountering the first shower of rain.
