I can't drive a track for st, so my Nurburgring fuel economy in a 3-litre diesel is 27mpg.

Got it down to just over 12 mpg in my 3.6tt

I managed almost 100 miles on almost 70 litres in my M5. That's about 7-8mpg. Smashing!

Pass. Consumption figures don't tend to figure very high on my list.

That said, I do know I have to fill up after 7 laps based on an 80 litre tank capacity.
