hello i might be going to straight swap my astra 1.9 cdti 200 bhp soon for an ep3 ctr, i have heard great things about the type r but the only thing that is well sort of putting me off is the 111k miles, its on a 54 plate so i suppose it doesn't work out too bad but what do you guys think?

i like my car, it is great but powerful diesels dont put the same smile on your face as a nice noisy petrol in my opinion anyway.

Anything i should look out for????

Who's offering the swap and what's in it for them? Is that all that's in it for them?

An Astra CDTi 150 should be worth much more than a leggy EP3?! Are you mad? Or have you lost a bet?

EP3 will feel slower, and to a certain degree it will be slower. It is a very different driving experience from a diesel and it can be very rewarding, but for what your current car is worth I think it would have to be a very special example to warrant a straight swap...
