Er, that was last year and he was pissed out of his head. Iirc he was drinking some homebrew vodka with his mates in the services and then went for a drive.

Remember that. Signs went down to 10mph and overhead signs warned of oncoming vehicle.

Everyone was still doing 80.

Looks to me like some "decent" lorry drivers then roadblocked him to stop as well....if so, I say well done "British" ( Probably) drivers.

Yep, I believe the lorry drivers who stopped him recieved £500 (IIRC) from public funds as a gesture of thanks. Awarded by the judge who sentenced the pissed up foreigner...

Signs can only go down to 20mph, not 10mph. But yes, everyone probably ignored then until they st themselves!

May well have been 20... I remember thinking it must be bad and I've never seen it before or since.

Amazing how the fk wit got a licence in the 1st place!!!
Sadly, with the e.u being what it is, and certain u.k firms happy to exploit the "cheaper labour" it may well explain the drop in standards over the last few years in the haulage industry.
