Cheap GPS trackers

[GTiRichTea]

I have been meaning to post this before but there are cheap trackers that are basically a GPS and a phone built into a little box which are meant to work pretty well reading the reviews so you can find your car.

This one is and portable £22.80

This one you mount it in the car permanently £38.75

That's some examples, I have not tried these myself and have no experience of them other than seeing them for sale, with the amount of cars that get stolen and then left for a few days to see if it has a tracker fitted it might make the difference in getting your car back.

I think we're all waiting for you to take the plunge and review it for us.

It's something I've been looking for as well.

Might be a daft suggestion but could you not buy a s/h iPhone 4 with payg sim and just plug in the charger to an ignition live, hide it and enable find my iPhone?

Battery would hold out 3-4 days, enough to get it back?

I'm certainly interested in that forty quid one. Good of them to write "GPS TRACKER" on the case!

If you buy one, please do let us know if it's any good.
