Hi, I have had 3 short conversations with a eastern European buyer about my m3 I have for sale. The first was a week ago asking if the car was still for sale and what condition the engine and gearbox was as he intended to drive 3000km home with it, and of course it is all good. I didn't think much more about it until he called again today asking for a viewing tomorrow as he lands in London tomorrow. It all seems a bit weird as we haven't discussed price just the engine and gearbox part. Also when I spoke to him today he asked if I supplied insurance and of course I said no. So the parts bothering me is why fly to London when I am based in Scotland and why ask for insurance with nothing else. I can't help to be sceptical.
If it helps I am sure he said he was coming from Hungary! Also every time he has called me the number is unknown.
What do other people think?

Thank you
Stuart

My experiences with Eastern European buyers and BMW's have been nothing but excellent.

Always arrive on time, pay cash for a more than fair price and never heard a word back.
Perfect buyers.

Mine were always very particular about the engine/gearbox model, so it sounds like a solid buyer!

Hi, I'm sure that eastern European people are reputable buyer, not sure if it's a solid deal.
