Best four seater convertible?

Mercedes SL.
Is the SL a 4 seater? I was in a brand new one recently and don't even remember there being a hint of a back seat?I do however swear seeing some small seats in one before. Maybe an option? Although the amount of room would make them utterly pointless anyway.

Audi RS4 convertible, BMW M3 convertible.
Both cars are dynamically ruined by chopping the top off and in both cases the "lesser" engined versions are better as the drivetrain doesn't attempt to rip the car apart if you ever try to drive with gusto (except in a straight line).I also agree with the other posters - best is seriously subjective in this case.

BMW E90 M3 or 6 series
E90 M3 - I have had one for 2 weeks from AE it wasn't comfortable at all on the back seat and forget the boot :-D - perfect for 2 without packages, quite good fun, noisy beast above 6000rpm, ideal 2nd car.
The previous/current 6 series are more comfortable - soft top - large boot

Yes 'best' is subjective. I'm quite happy with subjective answers, I really wasn't expecting any objective ones backed up by empirical proof so fire away!
SLs are 2 seaters.
Only a four seater will do, I already have a great 2 seat sportscar but it would be nice to have a convertible that could accomodate the wife and kids all at the same time.
Looks like there aren't any good ones at all!
Seems an obvious gap in the market to me.
Plenty of "2+2's" but they are all stupid and pointless. '2+2 midget amputees' is nearer the truth.

OP said 'something that will accommodate the wife and the kids all at the same time', not 'something that will accommodate the wife and the kids all at the same time and make them look like knobs'.
If you think driving/riding in a Mustang would make you look a knob, then it says a whole heap more about you, than the car.
And I pity you for it.Does it have to be new? Interceptor Convertible? It comes with mod cons such as a hydraulic powered hood, power steering, factory fitted aircon, disc brakes all round - oh and a Mopar 440 (7.2l V8).
The front seats are right back in the photo below, but I'm 6f6 - with normal sized people on board, the rear seats are extremely usable. Find one that has rear belts fitted though, mine doesn't!

And I pity you for it.Although I'd prefer a Challenger - with a 440 six-pack and a manual box.
