Seems we may need to discuss this too.
More and more see this, especially on complex roundabouts where usually the timid drivers get in the left lane and force their way round the outside. This causes people to have to orbit in order to avoid a crash, or to brake sharply when the muppet refuses to migrate outwards to the appropriate junction!
Notably guilty parties, frightened past it old folk, and the young. The rest of us seem to know that to go right, we start in the right lane.

Try driving in Newport, Wales.!!. Guilty parties = Everyone! I believe they have a
different Highway code there, the number of times I'm turning right to have the car on my
left drive round the front of me.

This is becoming more common now.

Especially at a roundabout with more than the standard 4 exits and which also may have

multiple lanes a round it.

Patience and keeping your wits about you is the only way to get out the other side safely..smile

I've had this once or twice from wagons with no indicators frown, and they blocked my planned exit, seeing as they would squash me I give them space now just in case.

Keep seeing this as well, driving across Warrington town centre where there are many roundabouts.

Quite tempted to let the Micra go out in a blaze of glory by "educating" the muppets!

Wagons often take a funny line around roundabouts just due to the demands of a trailer / long vehicle.

Always treat them with some suspicion. Same goes for buses on smaller roundabouts.

Had this a couple of times in MK. I just assume they're muppets.

I understand that, a clue via their indicators would be nice though. Don't start me on taxi drivers though, perhaps using indicators uses more diesel

What I had yesterday was the opposite. I was in the left hand lane of a DC, going straight ahead at a roundabout. Trouble was, the old in the right hand lane decided to turn left at the roundabout. eekeek

Missed him - just. It was not a complicated road layout at all.

Normal looking roundabout near Newark but get a queue of more than 3 waiting to turn right and the M.O. is as follows:

"If you are "speshul" (Audi, RR, 3.14key, turbodiesel hero etc) then use the (almost always empty) left hand lane. Do not use indicators. Proceed to the second exit and use the right hand indicator making everything ok. Do not then proceed to use the left hand indicator to show what exit you actually are taking as that would involve far too much effort for someone as important as you."
