VAG (Skoda/Seat/VW/Audi etc) screenwash works down to -70oC and I've never found anything to beat it. My local main stealer sell 2x 1 litre bottles for a fiver. Even well diluted it works out quite cheap and will handle anything a severe British winter can throw at it comfortably. Once I switched to this stuff I've never had frozen pipes and reservoir since, even in the -20 snow we had the other year. It's a decent cleaner too.

The same stuff that was recommended this time last year; it's from Lidl.

Lidl stuff here too, bought three, two for me, one for parents.
Not always easy to find, in my local one they were still in the plain white boxes (3 to a box), not much in the way of advertising in store, the only clue was being next to the big tubs of rock salt.
Good stuff!
PS I always make a strong solution of above screenwash in an empty trigger bottle and keep it in the boot, doesn't roll about as much as a de-icer tin.
