SUV identity quiz

Hi Guys, I saw a weird small SUV near Silverstone on Sunday and can't work out what it was...

Nissan juke sized and shaped, sloped figure 8 rear lights, Bi-Turbo stickers on the side and I think it had something like Mendero or Merodo on the badges - any ideas?

I should pay more attention to cars and less on the road

Hmmm, the lights are wrong on the back, I've just had a look at a load on Google. I'm suspecting it's some odd Japanese import.

A bi-Turbo Ssangyong?

Almost but not quite

The Bi-Turbo stickers were about a foot high along the bottom of the doors and I think it had a black bonnet on a light car. More of the feel of one of those racier(sic)Jukes.
