M135i lease deals
Discussion
Hi All,
By chance I thought I'd take a quick look at what current personal lease deals are currently available on the M135i just to see if that could be an alternative route to get me into one with the following criteria:
1. Small up front payment (would rather keep my savings, thanks)
2. No worries about having to make long term financial commitment
3. Minimal spec just to get into one without feeling that I've missed ticking a vital box
I consequently stumbled across this 24 month deal: 10k miles p/a, 3dr Manual 6+23 £285p/m inc VAT

What do people reckon? Or would a PCP be better?
Debate/conjecture welcome!

we had a thread knocking about this morning with a similar topic.
I can't find anything PCP wise for less than £360 p/m.
I'm waiting for the M235i to become listed and then I might finally pull a few strings and see if I can get a good rate for one of those with an LSD.
that's in the back of my mind too but I have a hunch that deals of this level of discount won't be around for another 18 months or so. Would love to be proved wrong though as an M235i would be ideal!I can't find anything PCP wise for less than £360 p/m.

5 doors are even cheaper per month due to residuals. These seem really great deals, I was quoted via a contact on the forums 380/mth and 3.5k deposit in PCP at a BMW dealer (this worked out to be a 16% discount on list).
hmmm. Want.
edit to add PCP quote was over 24 months
But the OP quoted £1710 deposit and £285 p/m ?hmmm. Want.

I do a fair bit of business for BMW so hoping I can call in a few favours when the time comes..... But I don't really need my own car so I will probably twist a few arms, get one for a month or two and then move on.simo1863 said:

assume different spec'd cars. I'm after a 5 door, auto, nav, met paint. Oh I wasn't clear, the PCP deal i was offered was good at the time but these lease deals are brilliant. The OPs price would also be cheaper still if it was over 35 months. 3 + 36 is the sweet spot normally for most cars

Business lease though not Personal according to that link. And a VAT Registered business could claim half of that back too. They don#t offer 35 months on their calculator I see though most that do are cheaper. Not surprising as the depreciation will be far lower in year 3.
I'm seriously close to pulling the trigger on one of these.
Just checked the website and worked out that an auto 3dr in white (i.e. cheaper as standard prices on the site all include metallic paint) would come in at £284 inc vat per month with a c. £2k payment up front.
Don't really think I really need to tick any other boxes, no matter how tempting.
Should I do it???

If you can afford it then why not?Just checked the website and worked out that an auto 3dr in white (i.e. cheaper as standard prices on the site all include metallic paint) would come in at £284 inc vat per month with a c. £2k payment up front.

I think that's an outstanding car for the money.
Go for base level in white.
Costs are going to be one service during the 24months and what else? potentially a set of brake pads all round and at most 4 tyres possibly just 2 rears.
I think that is a massive massive car for that price.
Its under £75 a week. If only you were a vat registered business and could bring that lease down even further
Hope you enjoy and can get one delivered quickly mate.

In a 24 month period unless you're going to be doing intergalactic mileage, or shed loads of tracks days Go for base level in white.

I doubt you'll need brake pads. I've had my 135i since new and done 38k miles in 2.5 years (plus 2 track days) and brakes pads are still 15k+ away from needing replacing.Front tyres will probably last 30k at least, but yes, you'll likely need at least 1 new set of rears possibly two depending again on miles you do in that 2 years.
