Nissan GT-R NISMO: Pic Of The Week

Nissan's heroically focused NISMO GT-R in all its glory for your desktop delight

We always have to wait for GT-Rs, don't we? The first drives in Japan were way back in 2007 but UK cars weren't available until 2009. The first rumours of a NISMO car surfaced when the 2012 Track Pack was introduced but we've only driven it this week.

However, going from Dan P's first impressions, the NISMO GT-R appears to have been worth the wait. Not only is it the more aggressive R35 many aficionados have been calling out for, its additional focus has allowed the standard MY14 car to become a little more accommodating.

So it only seems right to have the NISMO as Pic of the Week. There are plenty more images in the driven feature on track to glance over but here we have one of the studio shots. With our best creative hats on, we'd say the pic is shorn of unnecessary fripperies in the same way the car is. Or something like that. But anyway, it will look great on your phone, PC or TV, and that's the important thing!

Computer widescreen (16:10)
TV widescreen (16:9)
Portrait (smartphone, etc)

who cares, at least they admit how they tweaked the car (and at the end of the day nismo are car tweakers anyway), most manufacturers tweak their ring cars and deny it.

and its not as if any owner could not do the same if they so wished

at the end of the day, even a tweaked GTR doing a 7.08 is monumental

and i want one smile

Seriously? In the week where we had this:

we get a GTR as POTW? Don't get me wrong, I like the GTR, but...

You've seen the F-Type, right?
