Never heard of this before, but 5,000hp would present some significant engineering challenges to transmit to the wheels. That's monster torque by the time any RPM was geared down to the sort of wheel speeds you could drive off with. See top fuel drag racers for the sort of territory you're in.

Tyres don't exist that can support the Veyron for a prolonged period at its top speed which is significantly lower than what's quoted for this car. Sounds like a pipe dream to me.....

Dragster engines do produce that and more but life expectancy is a few secs.

If they can get two or three runs they are lucky.

The amount of fuel consumed to produce that sort of horsepower would be huge.

Tyres already discussed.

Cooling ?

Sounds like a pipedream that even VAG can get nowhere near.
