Does anyone do/know about Rallycross?

The title says it in itself to be honest. I'm looking at getting into rally cross and wondered if anyone could explain more about it/how to start? I'm a bit stuck and a quick google search hasn't exactly made it clear.

If it's still the same as when I was competing, it's sort-of along the lines of:
1. Find Motor Club which organises races
2. Join club
3. Jump through all the necessary hoops to obtain an RAC Competition licence
4. Enter races - enjoy!

Those sites are the best resources.
BTRDA used to run a series that was the cheapest but they put it on hold.
Rallycross is great fun, you get quite a few races during the day so not mcuh time waiting around, 1 x practice, 2 or 3 heats and a final.
