car is insured but documents havent arrived yet. how can i tax it.

As above - if it is insured, the online site should pick it up within 24hrs.

My insurance co. emailed my docs to me within 1/2 hour of buying insurance. I printed them off and popped down the Post Office. Job-jobbed.

If log book is in your name and address tax online, if not post office with a copy of mot and insurance.

how long after buying online are your documents ready

Print your insurance cert off

Take MOT cert

Take new keepers supplement from log book, filled in.

Hand over cash/card adn be supplied with expensive round bit of paper.
