Not sure if this is the right place.

Bit weird but this morning I saw an MG TF on 60 plate, how can this be? They haven't been made for at least 5 years?

Seen quite a few on 10 plates at work, feel no different in quality to the 53 plate I used to own, ie st.

Towards the end of production they weren't selling very well so production slowed and finally ground to a halt in 2011. I imagine there were a few unregistered cars kicking around as well.

Are you sure they were still being made until 2011? Not at longbridge anyway.

Yep the last tf to be made was around that time they where sold in very small numbers mind you, not they weren't made in longbridge more of saic made in china. I think I did see a 2012 plate once which was properly made in 2011-10 and only registered in 2012.

O/T, but can anyone find the thread on here about cars on newer than age related plates? I seem to remember there being a 51 plate Mk3 polo and a Y reg Maestro. Tried searching, but no luck.
