I need to replace a fuse on my car. Never done it before!

All I need to do it turn the engine off? I don't need to d/c the battery or anything?

You'll be fine with ignition off alone - unless the reason its blown is a short.

You'll not get a shock off it or do any damage either way.

You don't even need to turn the engine off. I went through four fuses in a dark, cold and rainy Morrisons car park last night trying to persuade the Volvo's headlights to stop shorting out, whilst not letting the battery go flat in the process. Need to get some heat shrink on ALL the wiring ASAP...
