Car dilemna

I bought a c350 in the summer but have now got a job which means a treacherous (but fun) commute over the snake pass during the winter

Can't decide if I should trade it in for a slightly older and higher mileage A5 3.0 Quattro or buy a <£2k 4x4 to get me through to march.

The Merc is mint, has warranty and I've got two years free servicing that's been paid for already.

Help!

This is good advice. Keep the cost down by dropping a wheel size if possible as well.

Personally I think the OP should be some 17 wheel drive Ponce Rover on low profile tyres.
