Off to collect the latest Car purchase tomorrow (E46 for the GF) after a successful ebay bid but want to check the HPI for myself (seller confirmed it is but want to check etc.)

Link for the nosey:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-318-ci-M-SPORT-Facel...

Which is the best site/service to use - preferably at a budget (the car isn't too expensive...)

Any recommendations & thanks in advance smile

Use the Check on Ebay, its the cheapest and is the same as HPI, £7 or £8 i think.

HPI ALL THE WAY. I just got my new car and paid the £20 and it tells you everything.

£3 text check for me too. Its financial status doesn't affect your title.

Problem with text check is if there is something it can be misleading or put you off, when I was looking for an mx5 it said "possible write off" I said no thanks to the car, owner pleaded it was clean, I did proper hpi and turns out a private plate was on the car in 06 taken off in 07 then put on a slk which was smashed up in 2010.

If its really the car you want then £20 for 3 through RAC for the full information is not to much to spend.

^^^This - you can always sell the spare ones to your mates and IIRC RAC = HPi
