Uh oh! luckily doesn't look like there will be too much damage though in most cases (the cars closest camera)? the yellow DS3 is definately a gonner though haha, unless they sell it as a boat?

Hope when they sell them on they mention what has happened to them rather than try hide it as I assume insurers should cover the shortfall?

They'll be insured for that kind of damage, right?

EDIT: Question already asked in post above while I typed mine

Chances are they'll all just be scrapped - most of them won't run or smell right having been filled with water. frown

It must have been a large surge though as it pushed the DS3 so perhaps the other cars have been pushed into each other too?

I don't think insurance covers this kind of thing, I believe it's under an "act of God" clause or some such nonsense. Anyone able to back that up?

Imagine if you couldn't claim on something due to "an act of Santa". Equally stupid!

Insurance claim without a doubt. Keep your eyes on the online salvage sites within the next few weeks for a damp bargain!

I've dealt with a number of flooded dealerships from Mercs to motorhomes.

A good wet vac and an air freshener and they'll be right as rain.
I feel sorry for whoever buy them afterwards

Most of those Fiats etc would be fine once dried out surely? The water does not look that high...
