Is it still worth waiting until spring to sell convertible?

Due to job change, I don't really need the Z4M anymore.
Its nice to have a blast in it at the weekends, but with the imminent arrival of a dog, I feel our weekends will mostly be taking up by going for long walks with it in which case the Z4 won't get much use.
Is it worth keeping it for a little while longer to sell it come spring time, or are convertibles not really a seasonal buy anymore?
