Evening all,

After some of the threads on here (specifically the chap whose house got burgled) my problems are minor but i'm still furious.

If ever a PH'er is desperate for parking in High Wycombe, don't go to the Morrisons car park. Someone, who is clearly lacking in Christmas Spirit decided to smash into my girlfriends little 107, and then drive off without giving a damn.

There are no security camera's, a limp security guard and no fking note to give any details.

Anyway, if there is anyone who can recommend a body shop or someone who can sort this mess out it in the Beaconsfield/High Wycombe area it would be much appreciated.

Gutting for you but an easy fix unbolt wing find a breaker with the same colour wing and refit £50 for a wing and a hour labour wouldn't worry about the small mark on the bumper.

Edit: beaten to it

:-( Somebody did that to my dads car a few years ago in our area, just drove off.....

As it is quite a common car, may be best to have a peek on ebay / breakers and see if they have one that they are breaking in the same colour, it is a tiny little wing on that car and i doubt too hard to remove....

Might even pull out and just need a smart repair, even a good polish if you're not overly precious about paintwork.

Whilst such things are annoying, they're not the end of the world.

Either fix it on the cheap ......or just leave it, like people in many other countries would do.

I wouldn't bother swapping out the wing, trying to align it, etc. A SMART repair should be able to sort it all out for a few hundred max.

The majority will pull out then a fill/quick blow over and you wont even see it.

Thanks to all for your replies, the damage is superficial but it's the first car my girlfriend bought with her own hard earned and as such is feeling the injustice of some idiot just cruising off!!

The wing has all of less than 10 bolts/fixing off and on in under an hour a lot cheaper than a smart repair.

Graham at Mark One Motors in Seer Green. Did a cracking job when my ol' Saab was reversed into a few years ago.
