Thinking about getting someone who tinkers with cars one for Christmas.

I have used something similar They're okay for the money but very limited, the one I used won't read VAG at all.

I have an Autel AL301 for reading / resetting DTC codes - used on Ford and VAG cars without issue.

Very simple, so don't expect anything amazing.

bluetooth obd adaptor and smart phone will do the same as that
