Driving earlier today, I somehow came to the profound conclusion that the fiesta in zetec s or st flavour is the best looking car design available today.

Now, Im not claiming it is the overall best looking car, but given all opportunities and constraints for a particular car (e.g. small hatchback, 5 seats etc in its case) I think it has has the best design/styling of any car.... If you see what I mean..... Anyone can make a coupe look good.

It looks great from every angle, the lines flow well, proportions are good, aggressive but not overly so and the high rear lights make it look poised. And yet it is practical also.

How many small hatchbacks have been in production since 1976? The Fiesta hasn't lasted for no reason. Fantastic little cars if you ignore the rust. I've owned them in 4 different marks and I would have another tommorow as a runabout no problem.

I agree before the facelift it looked better. Same with the Clio the facelifted Clios look a bit weird to me.

Headlights that are far too big, grill taken from a late 2000's Peugeot, wheels that look like castors unless you go for one of the massive options, slab sides, looks like it's had a rear end shunt.........safe to say I'm not seeing it

Yep, the current gen of Fiesta is definitely the best looking car in its sector, easily.

It does look fantastic.

And probably is the best looking in class.

I really like the Fiestas from 95-99 -look sweet in Si or Ghia X
Current superminis i'm really liking the current Micra k13 -ironic as i found the similar K12 one of the ugliest

Its had a few years of it looking the best in class although now im liking both the 208 and the clio. Suddenly the ford looks a tad dated, and the aston grille doesnt suit the car IMO.

It looked a million times better before the facelift.

The new grille and lights are awful.

I agree it is a very smart looking car. It is now probably nearly a 6 year old design and yet it still looks very fresh. I preferred it before the new style front but even so it is still the nicest looking hatchback on the market by a long way.

They have never made a bad fiesta imo they have always been very good cars at the top of the class and great to drive.

It's probably unavoidable given the pedestrian regs and the difficulty in making the front end look sleek while steep enough to rise to the windscreen to mask a boxy passenger cabin but when I see a Fiesta I think the distance between the top of the wheelarch and the top of the bonnet is really big. If you see what I mean.

Having said that, for a short boxy car it does look pretty good overall. Possibly not as good as the original Grande Punto though - both cars subsequently butchered by facelifts.

Not only is it the best looking car in its class, and probably the best looking everyday family hatch but it's the best small car to drive to. I have driven plenty of fiestas and all of its current competitors and as a small car it's very enjoyable to chuck down a country road. The 1.0l ecoboost is also excellent.
I think the new 208 is a good looking car but I am yet to see or drive one that was not a boggo spec, interior very dull on base spec ones, don't know if better models are nicer inside.

A good looking car.

Shame about the fussy dashboard design though.

That's the problem with Ford at the moment, sitting in the seat and going ugh, and feeling quite stressed by the 1960s Mission Control button overload.

Oh, the Fiesta, pre-grille facelift thanks.

Disagree. The styling is fussy for me (and the interior is a disaster)

Sorry, but don't feel the same way. There are plenty of other small hatches in my opinion which look as good as if not better than the Fiesty. Alfa Mito, Fiat Punto Abarth (early pre facelift, Clio 200 (pre-facelift) to name a few.

It does look good, but doesn't stand out in my eyes. Apart from the Aston Grill, which is contrary to others I quite like.
