Seriously, google it
.
Starter for ten - if the first letter is S it is a GB-built car and if the first letter is W it is Germany-built (the latter from memory
) . They all have 17 characters - well, since 1980 anyway...
What do you want to know?
Owners' Clubs will have the info you require, I guess?

D'oh!
My 1987 Pug 309 was built from a CKD kit at Ryton, and has an SDB... VIN (therfore UK-built). 'Twas a quarter of a century ago though
.
Perhaps the (making assumptions
) Stalag Oxford-built German car was built in Germany for temporary/unspecified/general reasons unknown?
Or it could be a Land/Range Rover from a certain era built in Germany on a temporary basis rather than in Canley/wherever?
