If you can afford it, stop grumbling, you clearly enjoy it. If you can't afford it, grow up and stop being a dick. But don't come whingeing to us about a "problem" that is entirely under your control.

Flipping cars? I can only assume you live in one of the 'Fast and Furious' movies?

Would be interesting to know what cars though...surely there is a compromise that would suit your needs you haven't tried yet. Also the depreciation must make you shudder.

Thanks.

If I don't flip and keep the car I have now it would mean my yearly exposure would be £25k and I would save the £25k flip fund.

So I suppose what I am asking is what percentage of your salary is an acceptable amount to spend on your car?

If you get an urge to change cars so often, surely it makes more sense to buy old cars (or if you only like modern cars, nearly new ones) so you don't lose so much in deposits/depreciation?

I've been driving for over 30 years and only ever managed to flip 3 cars and one of these only went onto it's side, not all the way over. How do you manage it?
