Have these made a difference in any insurance cases? Reading the myriad of insurance woes on here I would like to take some steps to minimise the effects it could have on me.

I'm thinking about getting a dashcam to wire into my car. I'd like it to be pretty 'fire and forget' in that it keeps a stock of footage and records over the old stuff. Are there kits that can do front and rear cameras that fit like this?

One that I could remove from my car and put into a new car when I sell it would be good too.

Thanks smile

There's a fairly hefty thread running already above. Personally I have background recording set up on an app on my phone, I cant find a camera small enough to leave in

I don't have one, because it would get me into more trouble than it got me out of.
