Beer + ebay = oops

I loved the last one... http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... but it was sold in august after pressure from SWMBO as it was too chavvy - must have been reminded of it....

Thankfully we don't live together but I need to hide it for a while (ideally until a ring trip in March) but otherwise until I can introduce it as a 'weekend' car despite already having a 540i, working in the city mon-fri and saving for a house deposit...

Worst case I'll have to sell it again, at £2.3k in for a straight 2004 120k miler with FSH I can't go too far wrong I guess....

Keep it at the parent's/mate's house. Or just man up, and tell her. She can like it or lump it.

Indeed think this will be done, my cash I guess smile

The 540 will have to move from the drive for road space though...

'Borrowed it off a mate'

By the time she catches on, it's too late!

My gf, and my ex's have all put up with me buying cars on a whim, im on my 11th car so far in 2 years of driving.

I swapped my Passat one day with a mk2 Golf i found on Ebay. My girlfriend had just turned up at my house 20 minutes before i was meant to be doing the deed with the Golf's owner at his house.

Grabbed my dad, told him what was happening. Left the gf with my mum, an told them I was just going to Halfords. Came back with the Golf biggrin

I got away with it too! cool

I dropped the missus off a few years ago in our VR6 at work and picked her up in our first Evo, she was not best pleased at the time!

Looks a nice car for the money. If I was nearer I'd be offering to look after it for you.
