Worse still he was my old boss.

Driving up the A1 on Friday and had a flashback to the mid to late(ish) 1990s. As a young quantity surveyor I used to go down to Newcastle with our MD to attend contract meetings with our Client. After the meeting my gaffer would take a long lunch with the Client's and fellow Contractors' and Sub-contractors' senior management and return somewhat the worse for wear. He would climb into the passenger seat of his car and I'd drive him home.

My "crime"? The car was a BMW 750i and on the road home (duals and two-way) I discovered just how much quicker than they were supposed to those big buggers' limiters would actually let them go. Once we'd arrive my boss would comment "Bloody hell that was quick, you must have flown"
to which I'd look a bit sheepish and reply pensively "Yup I think I was doing ninety all the way".

To tear arse a drunk sleeping passenger up the road at sonic boom speed is bad enough.
To do it in his own car? Well, the title says it all.

To be really cruel to a passenger you need a motorbike.

One of my favourite tricks was to wind the bike up to 100+ whilst sitting upright so the pillion had the benefit of me as acting as a wind break...

Then dive behind the screen when they least expected it laugh

I've been strangled by a hoodie and had both of my knees bruised from getting quick lifts home, I know that they were done on purpose because of the giggling hehe

I threw a mate head first through the windscreen, that's probably been the worst that I have done paperbag

I had the car booked in for 4 new tyres so on the way there I told her I was going to see how much tyre squeal I could get on a roundabout near my house. Turned the wheel sharply to the right and my girlfriend's head went careening into the passenger window.

Deepest rural Kansas. Empty dirt roads with nobody on them. I'm getting a ride back to the field and sat in the passenger seat of a new that year Peterbilt 377 grain truck. We approach a 4 way stop. We can see for miles and the drive just slows down a bit. When the nose of the truck is about half way across the crossing I thump the passenger door with my fist with all the energy I can muster. The driver nearly has heart failure biggrin

A couple of nights after getting my RS4, i took a mate out a run.

As you do, i was showing off a bit, giving it some beans on a road i hadn't driven in years but i used to* know it well. We were approaching a long sweeping left hander at 100+, no problem i thought.

Fast forward a couple of seconds and i quickly realise that the long sweeping left was not as long or as sweeping as i remembered and we're suddenly relying on the quattro gods to get us out the other side with rubber on the tarmac and not roof.

Couple of seconds and some tyre squeel later we're out of the corner on 4 wheels, I was BUZZING but my passengers knuckles were still white and the bolsters had nail imprints in them for days, he was almost silent all the way home aside from some nervous laughs and deep breaths. Felt a bit bad, as a driver you have much more confidence in a car than as a helpless passenger. We laugh about it to this day.

Needless to say he was impressed with the audi wink

when approaching width restrictions the odd terror scream at full volume lets the passengers know its time to join in smile

I'm sure I've probably done worse, but the worst I can remember at the moment was when a friend (who isn't the most car savvy or interested person) let me drive his Ford KA, and he said "be careful"
I asked him if he had ever realised that they handle really quite well, to which he replied No.
We got to a medium sized roundabout and I started going round it at a normal pace. Then I went round again. And again. And again, getting faster every lap. (This was at about 1am, so no other traffic).

Eventually it started to wash out wide with all four wheels instead of just the front, so I lifted off and invoked some lift off oversteer. At this point he's terrified and slightly shouting at me, but his biggest concern is that he has nothing to hold on to hehe

After allowing him to experience some slightly-beyond-limit handling, we return to the car park from whence we came, got out, and he not so politely told me that I wouldn't be driving his car again. Albeit with a slight smile. smile

I did feel a bit bad about that one...

Jumped off the front of a tandem just before (relatively minor) impact. I did shout "off" just before I exited, not my fault if she (still) doesn't listen smile

Took out the apprentice at work in the RX-7 the day before my new tyres were fitted...

The 2nd turbo kicked in when we were half way around a roundabout, we went sideways.

He was shaking for 15 minutes when we got back to the office.

I went through a few byways with my mate the other night, he had had a few drinks beforehand.

The last byway we went down we got stuck twice, cue my pis**ed mate trying to push me, getting covered in mud from being behind the wheels and falling over several times.

All the while I'm just sat in the car nice and warm trying to move off.

Was driving along after a weekend at a festival with the other half, and she had fallen asleep. A truck was getting towed on the motorway, cab facing towards us. As I drove up behind it I started screaming, other half woke up thought the truck was coming at us.

Was a long 6 hour drive after that.

Met a woman in the pub who I hadn't seen since she knocked me back at school.
She was recently separated and an emotional wreck so appreciated an old friend's shoulder to cry on

I gave her a lift home, she invited me in and I ended up fking her up the arse.
I haven't seen her since.

Do I win?

Had a old Renault 4 and was driving down a lane with my mate and came across a huge puddle that covered the road. I floored it and hit the water.

My mate didn't know that the car was a complete rust heap and the water pressure forced it's way through the passenger floor and soaked him head to foot! hehe
