My better half is. Support worker for people on the autistic spectrum, so it's a worthwhile job.

I might as well be, we've all got the flu so Christmas is cancelled.
Two snotty kids & a snotty wife to look after and I'm down to work for the next seven Christmases (so long as the Rota doesn't change) still, I'm not in a war zone or at sea so it could be worse!
A big thumbs up to anyone having to work today , keep your chins up/heads down depending on circumstances.

Just finished, all quiet though. Lads are making a Xmas dinner now! Oil and gas industry doesn't stop. Merry Xmas from sunny Africa! (I'm a Brit BTW)

Always working/studying!

Been taking apart Opel Astra 1.7cdti software today (waste of time) but I know these do not have in-gear limiter like the 1.9cdti

I did the nightshift last night, only actual day we are closed is Christmas day and was due back in on boxing night but managed to save a day so got that off ....no holidays left and rostered to work then you have to go in for fire watch/security duty.

Just home from work....avalanche forecasting in the Scottish Highlands. Very deep snow above 500m altitude and heavy snowfall...but home now in front of a roaring wood burning stove with the family...Bliss..

Yup. Day shift today. No fires yet so at least everyone's having a safe day here.

Doing two night shifts, tonight and Boxing Day night. They should hopefully be fairly quiet at least tonight will be. There shouldn't be anybody about.
