I have sever dyslexia when it comes to maths so i would greatly appreciate it if somebody could work of the following. If a car averages 40 mpg and you use £160 of fuel per month. how low of a mpg car could you use to get the same amount of miles from £260woth of fuel per month?

Somehow i worked it out to be around a 25 mpg is that right?

Another good point, Diesel in the 40mpg car, other car would be petrol. Basically my new years resolution is to quit smoking and save £100 a month. I am thinking i can then get rid of my diesel commuter and have a more pleasant experience commuting to work each day is something nicer also great motivation to stop smoking.
