Pirelli scorpion ice/snow XL tyre noise

Recently fitted a pair to the rear of our Chevrolet Captiva and to my ears it sounds like a bearing could be on the way out.

However, prior to fitting there were no such noises. Does anyone else use these? Do they notice more tyre roar? They are 235/55/18 and fairly chunky.

I have a set of scorpion winters for my old range rover. Haven't put them on this year yet but I imagine I will. They don't produce any more noise then the ATs that are normally on. Occasional whine on some surfaces but not a lot.
They are 235 16s.
