Does anyone here ever use the TSRGD (Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions)?

Is there something out there that I can use to quickly look up signs and marking numbers and laws without having to constantly flick through the book or PDF?

Thanks in advance.

Ah the TSRGD, what a cracking read.

Do you mean a crib sheet or quick reference sheet?

Not sure if its any help but I have an AutoCAD file with all the signs made up and their numbers which might help, getting them all on one sheet?

The Traffic Signs Manual is available on the DfT's website and is in many ways an idiot's guide to the TSRGD but depends what you're trying to achieve.

There's a Traffic Signs Manual = sort of where to put signs/lines etc
Comes in 8 !Chapters" but Chapter 3 (IIRC) doesn't exist however there are two parts to Chapter 8 the Roadworks one. (Design & Implementation)
Sort of TSRGD for beginners

I assume you are the same guy that registered an account a week or two ago to try and drum up some excitement for the tsrgd app you are developing.

If so it is a stupid idea. Nobody that uses it for professional reasons would trust a 3rd party app to have all the regulations and directions in this ever changing document correct and up to date and nobody else would pay for such an app.

If you are not this same guy (unlikely) then I apologise.

For example I want to look at the illumination requirements for a stop sign. First I have to find the sign in the book, then I have to look at its reference in the table below it, then I have to look up that reference. Then I have to check the amendments docs to see if there has been any changes. This all takes time if you have to keep doing it for different signs, I thought maybe there's something online I could use that just has all the text for each sign on a single page?

I often reference the PDF but it's a bit awkward.

If only someone would develop some sort of app for mobile devices that I could utilise, I'd gladly throw a few quid in the pot for such convenience.
