Hi all,

I'm thinking about getting a project car to take on track days in the UK etc but I live in West London and our flat doesn't have a garage/shed.

What would most of you normally do? Is there cheap garages you can pay to store and even work on your car in, in someplaces? I've traveled from New Zealand so wondering how things are done around here :-)

Cheers for any advice you may have!

A lot of garages can prep and store your car ready for track days, and some will even deliver and collect it for you as well.

It all comes down to how much you want to spend.

You'll be lucky to find a garage anywhere in West London that will be cheap and secure.

So be prepared to pay a lot, or not be in a very secure location.

You won't likely have power, so if considering a project car, bare that in mind.

3 years ago, I spent 9 months looking around West London for a decent size garage before giving up the search.

Having a project car on a budget in London is a nightmare.

I think the best thing to do is get an already prepared track car and make the trip to PitStart Garage for any changes/tweaks you'd like to make.

But if one deletes the obvious dross - it works.
