Recommended Alloys Refurb

My daughter has just bought a year old car with 15inch as new alloys

In her wisdom she wants to replace them with Black alloys

I did wonder would it not be cheaper to have the existing silver alloys refurbed/sprayed Black ?

Comments ( positive or negative ) and suggestions welcome

I had mine refurbed with a colour change to satin black. Looking good after 5 years.

Pleased with the result from a firm in Herts..

i can recommend a place in birmingham called tyres@junction6. if you book in and take your car there before 9.00am they will strip off tyres get alloys totally refurbed and then refit to your car all balaced ready to go same day.they looked after me and did an excellent job.the number is 0121 3273395

If got them too me without tyres I could get them sandblasted and powdercoated for £20 a corner

Lepsons - we use them at work, and I've never seen a bad job yet. 48hrs turnaround normally, and they'll paint the back of the wheel too.. Usually about £50 a corner, but their quality is worth every penny.

tyres@junction6 birmingham will charge from £200-£250 for the full job including tyre refit and balance.Best thing is they're open till 8pm.It was ok for me because i only work a mile away but if your travelling a distance i suppose there's plenty to do in Birmingham while your waiting.

Decent plastic coating company will do the trick. Look for one with wheel examples showing on their website. Just google and find one local.
