What's the coolest car ever?

Apologies if this has been done recently and I know we'll never reach a consensus but what's your opinion?

Please feel free to post some gratuitous pics.

For me, the clarity of purpose of a motorsport connection is pretty cool but appreciate not everyone will agree with me.

These two are strong contenders and the automotive equivalent of a WWII Spitfire for me (I would love to drive a DBR9 in anger).





I also think these are timelessly cool without being too showy.

Absolutely. Splitting hairs, but for my money, a slightly dog-eared SII with a canvas tilt is perfect.

DB5 is damn cool

E-type would get my final vote though.
Modern stuff is much better in hundred different ways, for pure cool it's got to be something properly classic.

Then again, what do I know, I'm the least "cool" person alive.. In reality it's probably a 1 series or an a3 if you ask the "kidz"

Beat me to it, but i'd fit throttle bodies and a fire extinguisher system to prevent it bursting into flames.

I'll add a Porsche 917 to that too, dont care if it's not road legal, i'd just sit and stare at it maybe fire up the flat 12 now and again

For me its the Rolls Royce Phantom, ever since it came out IMO its such a cool car, I love Ferrari's, Lambo's and old school BMW's, but for ME, nothing comes closer for coolness;
