The ultimate in luxury just got more luxurious?

I know PH tends to have strong feelings on the dilution of brands. Thoughts?

I reckon they've just out blinged every other 4x4!

I quite like it, in a way that I know is totally unacceptable...

Reminds me of the Silver Shadow shooting brakes

That's just weird. Four rings on the front and it'd pass for an A6 Avant.

It's been done before though:

So there is an appeal for the (very) well heeled to potter around their country pile.

That's just an Auto Express-esque "artist's rendition" so probably is a cut and shut of a Q7, XC90, and a RR grille on the front. As other posters have said Rolls have often built cars for driving around in fields in the past, so it's not really that much of a leap.

Are you suggesting that the current crop of RRs are 'completely overrated crap'?

Stupid photoshop picture aside, if you don't follow (or listen to) the market you end up like Aston Martin which generally involves a creek and a paddle.

JLR took forever to (eventually) realise this and BMW realise there are only so many saloon and coupes you can make in a market dominated by SUV and crossovers so are testing the waters.

I think it actually looks alright, and if they've made record for 4 years running, you can't blame them for making a SUV, after all they are a business.
